Coach Broyles spoke at an event I had right after his wife died and there was not a dry eye in the place. I love him and he is a true advocate and hero for Alzheimer's!

I wish I could personally thank Coach Broyles for this wonderful little book! I used it throughout the 7yrs I took care of my mother right until the very end. It was a great resource to see where she was in the disease process, what I needed to do logistically and what I should expect in the future. Thank you Alzheimer's Association for making it available for free and thank you Coach Broyles for taking the time to create this gem of a roadmap for those of us who have traveled this road after you.

This book was the best I found. I cared for my Mother with the help of home hospice to the end of her life. This helped me to understand this terrible disease and give her the best care. As the disease progressed I was informed as to what to expect next. Thank you Coach Broyle

This book helped my siblings and I to understand what was happening to our mom and how we could help her. It is very easy to read and understand. I just ordered copies to give to a friend whose mom is having early symptoms in hopes that itswill help her.

I am from Arkansas so I had the privilege of attending an Alzheimer’s Association event in which Coach Broyles was the keynote. I was responsible for caring for my grandmother who was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s at the time, and this book was helpful with its simple and straightforward practical, easy to implement advice that makes taking care of you loved one with Alzheimer’s easier. It’s good for all ages. My younger brother got a lot out of it as well as my mother.

I ordered this book to understand more about my Dad's illness. It was so helpful, I also ordered one for my Mom. I gave my copy to the nursing home, as they had never heard of the book. I highly recommend this book to any family that may have an Alzheimer's patient. It is an easy, quick read, but also written so that anyone can understand and help their loved one.

this book is an amazing experience. it is written with such love, warmth, and compassion. and, it's all from a man's perspective. it is full of ideas for coping with the heartbreak of slowly losing a wife. after i read it, i ordered another to have sent to my dad. it was something he could relate to ~ man to man. ABSOLUTELY WORTH OWNING!
